Luan Ping: Yuchai's three-year system reengineering pushes companies to internationalize

Yu Ping, chairman of Yuchai, spoke at the seminar. He said that the healthy development of Yuchai’s shares has a bearing on the healthy development of the entire Yuchai Group. Therefore, from this year onwards, Yuchai’s shares will cooperate with international advanced consulting companies to reconstruct the system with three years’ time, from an institutional perspective. On the system, promote enterprise reform and continue to strengthen the core competitiveness. "This is a fundamental preparation for 'second-time entrepreneurship.' This time, the clarification and decoding of the company's strategic objectives is an important beginning for Yuchai's stock system reconstruction.

The performance management system that was discussed in this seminar was an important part of management improvement. The project was launched in September this year. Its purpose is to clarify the relationship and logical decomposition system between the company's organizational strategy, annual policy objectives, annual business plan and annual KPIs, improve the existing performance evaluation index system, establish department-level organizations, and perform Evaluation index system. From the aspects of performance planning, performance evaluation, performance feedback analysis, and performance improvement, establish and improve the company's high-level, middle-level cadres, departments, sections, and grassroots cadre performance management mechanisms. Establish an application model of performance results and apply the results of performance evaluation to areas such as salary distribution, incentives, employee careers, cadre movements, and training.

According to the plan, the reengineering of related systems will further improve the competitiveness of products and management, so that Yuchai’s shares can better adapt to international competition. It is understood that Yuchai will open up its way through the European and American markets in the next five years and strive to build the most competitive engine products in the world.
