General Motors Corp. submitted in a file to the U.S. National Highway Safety Administration that the adjustment clips of the recalled vehicle transmissions may not be able to fix the transmission in the correct position. General Motors said that car dealers will replace the new transmission adjustment clips for problem vehicles for free.
