Traffic jams are not only a waste of time and money, but also put a lot of pressure on the driver, which can easily lead to accidents. Recently, Volvo Car Corporation has officially demonstrated its new traffic jam-assisted driving system. The system can automatically follow the car in front when the traffic speed is less than 50 km/h. This system will be used in production cars in 2014.
“The traffic on everyday urban roads is tedious and new technologies can make driving easier by automatically following the front vehicle. At low speeds, it provides drivers with a safe and convenient driving experience.†Volvo Car Corporation Peter Mertens, senior vice president for R&D, said.
According to reports, the driver can start the traffic jam assisted driving function through a simple button operation. After the system is started, the engine, brake and steering system react automatically (response). The adaptive cruise control system automatically maintains the proper distance from the preceding vehicle while maintaining control of the steering, thus making driving safer and more comfortable. The traffic jam assisted driving function is the integration and extension of the current adaptive cruise control and the lane keeping assist system. The latter two technologies have been applied to the newly released Volvo V40 in 2012.
Peter Mertens stated that autopilot featuring automatic steering, acceleration and/or braking of vehicles that basically does not require driver intervention is a key area of research and development at Volvo Cars. “Our goal is to become a global leader in autonomous driving by transforming world-leading design concepts and advanced technologies into products that consumers can reach. The development of reliable and user-friendly features can greatly enhance the user’s ability to drive autonomously. confidence."
The low-speed traffic jam-assisted driving system is Volvo’s second technology for automatic driving. A few weeks ago, the company exhibited the SARTRE project (“environmentally safe road trainâ€) to drive vehicles on the highway at a speed of less than 90 km/h.
Machining is any process in which the raw material is cut into a desired shape and sizes by a controlled material-removal process and equipment.
In our machining workshop, we own advanced milling, turning, drilling and grinding machines both simply old version and advanced CNC version, the machining center up to 5 axis operation system. We can fulfill the complicated work for our customer by good and stable quality.
The Machined Parts from our factory mainly include machined shaft, pulverizing grinding bowl for laboratory, machined bearing housing, machined compressor wheel for turbocharger, machined sleeves and any customized CNC Machined Parts.
