Toshiba Launches Small Optocoupler

The optocoupler uses a photo-controlled relay structure without a MOSFET chip. The user can create an isolated relay by combining the optocoupler with an external selectable MOSFET. This allows for greater voltage and current, surpassing the performance of existing photo-relay products.

The new products “TLP3905” and “TLP3906” can maintain the basic performance of Toshiba’s existing products “TLP190B” and “TLP191B” while being able to increase the operating temperature to 125°C (maximum) and the insulation voltage to 3750Vrms (minimum).
