The Zeebrugge Pier in Belgium was put into use a few days ago

According to reports, on July 19, the terminal welcomed its first Asia-Europe service, and the PSA Zeebrugge International Port Container Terminal in Zeebrugge, Belgium, was put into use. The annual throughput of the new terminal is 500,000 TEU. It can handle 22,000 TEUs of container ships with a berth depth of 17 meters. The bridge crane can handle ships with a width of 24 rows. The first vessel to be welcomed by the terminal is Evergreen’s “Ever Laden” wheel, which was deployed on the “CEM/ANN” line of the weekly Asian-European line of cooperation between Evergreen and Hanjin. In addition to this terminal, Singapore International Port Group (PSA) operates two terminals at Zeebrugge: Container Handling Zeebrugge Terminal operated by a joint venture with CMA CGM , and the ZIP Multipurpose Terminal.
