National Bearing Quality Inspection Center is ready to go

Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ) organized an expert group composed of authoritative experts in relevant fields in the country to come to Xinchang County to carry out on-site investigation and research on the construction of the State Bearing and Parts Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. Wang Jiwei, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine led a team to conduct investigations. The county party committee member and deputy head of the county, Ke Yu, and Wang Shichao, deputy director of Shaoxing Quality Supervision Bureau accompanied the investigation.

At the research meeting, Ke Yu introduced the development of the bearing industry in Xinchang to the group of experts. The person in charge of the Zhejiang Bearing Product Quality Inspection Center, the central construction unit, reported on the preparation of the National Bearing and Parts Quality Supervision and Inspection Center project. Ke Yu stated that Xinchang will, in accordance with the requirements of the AQSIQ and the expert group, and under the guidance of the provincial and municipal quality supervision departments, promote the construction of the national bearing and spare parts quality supervision and inspection center with a high starting point and high standards. The development of bearings and parts industry in East China and the country provides strong technical and quality services.

Subsequently, experts from the China Bearing Industry Association, the National Bearing and Pipeline Component Quality Inspection Center, the Beijing Special Inspection Center, and the Hubei Province Quality Inspection Institute also went to the provincial Bearing Inspection Center Laboratory and Peel Bearing Company to conduct on-site inspections and guidance. During the period, the experts also questioned the person responsible for the preparation of the project on relevant issues, and provided opinions and suggestions on the center's target orientation, laboratory settings, talent introduction, and the application of research results.

The national bearing and spare parts quality supervision and inspection center preparation unit is the provincial bearing product quality inspection center, and the parent unit is the county product quality supervision and inspection institute. The planned total investment is 39.5 million yuan, which is in accordance with the "China's Leading, World-class, International Mutual Recognition" construction. Positioning will build a comprehensive bearing industry service platform that integrates arbitration, standards, inspection, analysis, research and development and training and is expected to be completed by the end of 2013.
