Since the stability of blue phosphorescent materials has not been solved, fluorescent/phosphorescent hybrid luminescence is considered to be the best way to achieve OLED illumination applications. Hybrid white OLEDs have become a hot spot in the field of organic luminescence research. In 2006, the United States proposed the idea of ​​adding an intermediate layer between the fluorescent and phosphorescent layers. Although the luminous efficiency was improved, the device structure was complicated and the spectral stability was poor. Under the support of the National Fund Committee, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences and our province, Ma Dongge, a researcher at the Changchun Institute of Chemical Industry, etc., mixed the blue fluorescent material with a higher triplet level into the bipolar blended host material. A high-performance hybrid white OLED is prepared without adding an intermediate layer between the fluorescent and phosphorescent emitting layers. The hybrid OLED structure without intermediate layer is relatively simple, not only has high luminous efficiency, but also has a very stable spectrum in lighting applications. Has a very good practical value.
