The fourth type is the FRP sound barrier: the panel and the orifice plate are made of FRP, and the ultra-fine glass wool board is wrapped with the alkali-free water-repellent glass cloth. The weighted sound insulation Rw=30——38dB(A), and the sound absorption coefficient NRC=0.80——0.90. The disadvantage is: poor fire protection.

There are many factors affecting the noise reduction of road sound barriers, such as: sound barrier height and overall length, sound barrier installation position, sound barrier style, road sound barrier material and so on.
