Safety regulations for blasting under special conditions

(1) Mines with danger of explosion of sulfur dust or sulfide dust When blasting in mines with the risk of explosion of sulfur dust or sulfide dust, the following provisions shall be observed:
1. Regularly measure the dust concentration.
2. The blasting of the bare pack and the blasting of the unfilled blasthole shall not be used. The length of the blasthole packing shall be greater than 1/3 of the total length of the blasthole and shall be greater than 0.3 m.
3. Before charging, the working surface should be sprinkled; when shallow hole blasting, water should be sprayed within 10m; when deep hole blasting, water should be sprayed within 30m.
4. The blasting personnel should carry the self-rescuer with them and use the explosion-proof battery light to illuminate.
(2) High-temperature and high-sulfur mine blasting High-temperature blasting operators should be specially trained and form a fixed match. When the high temperature blasting temperature is lower than 80 0C, high temperature blasting equipment or heat insulation protection measures should be used. When the temperature exceeds 80 °C, the blasting equipment must be protected against heat.
When blasting high temperature and high sulfur mines, the following regulations should be observed:
1. A well-processed, high-temperature anti-burst kit should be used, and the pack should not be damaged or deformed.
2. The temperature of the working surface and the hole should be measured before charging. The temperature of the hole should not be higher than the safe use temperature of the drug pack.
3. When detonating with a detonating cord, a high temperature resistant high strength plastic detonating cord should be used.
4. Mineral rock powder containing sulfide ore should not be used as a packing.
5. When the temperature in the hole is 60~800C, the interval between the charge and the detonation should not exceed lh.
6. When the temperature in the hole is 80~1200C, the asbestos fabric or other thermal insulation material should be used to tightly pack the explosive, and the detonating cord with anti-heat treatment should be used for detonation. The interval between charge and detonation should be determined by simulation test.
7. When the temperature inside the hole exceeds 120 0C, special high temperature blasting equipment should be used.
(III) Blasting of nitrate-type explosives in high-sulfur mines 1. In the high-sulfur mines, the nitrate ion-type explosives are used for blasting. The iron ion concentration and sulfur content of the sulfide ore powder should be determined in advance.
2. When the sulphur content of the ore exceeds 30%, the sum of the iron ion concentration of the iron ore and ferric sulphide in the ore powder exceeds 0.3%. When the working surface is wet and has water, and the blasting of the slag is used, the blasthole mine should be removed. Powder; the explosive should not be in direct contact with the hole wall; the explosive should be packaged intact; the blast hole should not be filled with sulfur slag; the time from charge to detonation should be strictly controlled.
