Principle process of tungsten metallurgy

Currently tungsten metallurgical process to extract many, the process is longer, but in general includes the following phases:
(1) Mineral decomposition The task is to use acid or alkali or other chemical raw materials to interact with tungsten minerals at high temperatures or in aqueous solution to destroy the chemical structure and to separate the tungsten from the associated elements. After decomposition, the tungsten is generally converted to a crude sodium tungstate solution or crude tungstic acid. Pretreatment can also be carried out prior to various wet leaching to remove flotation agents and some impurities and improve their leaching performance.
(2) Preparation of pure tungsten compound The product obtained by separation is purified to obtain a pure compound (generally pure ammonium paratungstate or tungsten trioxide) having chemical composition and physical properties.
(3) Preparation of tungsten powder.
(4) High-purity dense tungsten preparation.
