Nanjing Meishan Iron Mine is a skarn type iron deposit. The iron minerals in the ore are mainly magnetite, imaginary hematite, siderite and a small amount of pyrite. The inlaid grain size is coarse. Meishan iron ore processing plant using a dry magnetic separator re-election of a flotation process. The raw ore is coarsely crushed and crushed to a size of 70 mm, and the washed sieve is divided into 12 to 70 mm, 2 to 12 mm and 1 to 2 mm. The first two fractions were selected from the weak magnetic field magnetic separator as the magnetic product, and the weak magnetic separation tailings were selected from the weak medium vibrating chute and the jig to select the weak magnetic mineral as the re-election product; -2mm The size fraction is separated from the magnetic product and the reselected product by a wet weak magnetic field magnetic separator and a jig. The magnetic product and the re-elected product are combined and finely ground to a ratio of more than 64%, and the anti-flotation desulfurization (pyrite) is added to the xanthate and the pine oil, and the product in the tank is iron concentrate.

The typical process for treating hematite ore in industrial production is stage grinding, a coarse subdivision, a re-election, a weak magnetic separation, a strong magnetic separation, and a reverse flotation process. The typical ore dressing plants include Qidashan Iron Ore Dressing Plant, Qidashan Concentrator, Gongchangling Concentrator, Donganshan Sintering Plant, and Angang Mining Co., Ltd., which are owned by Angang Group Mining Company. The production process adopted by Qi Dashan Iron Ore Dressing Plant is shown in Figure 1.

The Qidashan Iron Ore Dressing Plant was completed and put into operation in 1998. The original grinding-weak-magnetic-strong magnetic-anion reverse flotation process was adopted. The mineral processing technical indicators were: the original ore iron grade was 29.69%, and the concentrate iron grade was 66. 50%, iron recovery rate is 84%; In 2007, it was changed to a stage grinding group, a subdivision level, a re-selection, a weak magnetic separation, a strong magnetic separation, an anion reverse flotation process, and the mineral processing technical index is: the original ore iron grade is 28 %, the iron grade of the concentrate is 68%, and the iron grade of the tailings is 11%.
