The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has strengthened the supervision of imported motor vehicles and built a closed-loop supervision system covering market access, port inspection, follow-up supervision, recall, and three guarantees.
Data show that from January to September this year, entry and exit inspection and quarantine agencies at all levels dispatched more than 1,700 law enforcement personnel, and conducted random checks on the obligations of more than 800 imported auto dealers to perform recalls and three guarantees.
In addition, in terms of import vehicle supervision, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has improved the level of information management. Through the implementation of the QR code label service, the cumulative number of imported vehicle traceable QR codes has been more than 745,000. Consumers can learn by scanning the QR code. The quality and safety information of imported cars provides reference for car purchase.
