Hitachi: Large-scale pump new plant completed in China

Hitachi Pump Manufacturing (Wuxi) was the first overseas production base of Hitachi Group as a large-scale pump manufacturing field for custom production. It was established in February 2006 to manufacture large-scale pumps for water conservancy, power stations, and urban drainage, and it is also sold at home and abroad. . In recent years, with the “Water Transfer Project for South-to-North Water Transfer” and the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, various social infrastructure such as power stations are being comprehensively constructed and improved, which has contributed to the significant growth of the large-scale pump market. Against this backdrop, since the establishment of Hitachi Pump Manufacturing (Wuxi), the business performance has been smoothly improved and the existing plant (Building A) has continued to be in full production. Therefore, in order to respond to strong demand, the company decided to build a new factory (Building B) and increase the investment by 90 million yuan (about 1.2 billion yen), and started construction in July 2009.

The new factory (Building B) has a land area of ​​47,000 m2, a building area of ​​24,200 m2, and a floor area of ​​25,200 m2. The biggest feature is that the factory has the largest “pumping test site” in China (a floor area of ​​about 3000 m2, water storage capacity). It is 20000m3) and actual flow test of about 150,000m3/h can be carried out. And, by increasing the "can making area" space to about 3 times the existing space, to enhance the production capacity.

Hitachi Pump Manufacturing (Wuxi) plans to increase production by focusing on large pumps with caliber of 1200mm to 4000mm for water conservancy, power generation, and urban drainage, and high-pressure pumps with output power exceeding 10,000kW. In addition, while further expanding sales in the Chinese domestic market, we will increase overseas exports and strive to achieve a sales policy of 750 million yuan (approximately 9.6 billion yen) in 2014.
