A few days ago, AQSIQ issued a special spot check on the state supervision of energy-saving internal combustion engine products in 2014. The results showed that the rate of failure of energy-saving internal combustion engine products was 50%. Among them, the quality of the second-generation single-cylinder diesel engine was outstanding and the failure rate was as high as 92.9%. Exhaust smoke, exhaust pollutants, fuel consumption, maximum torque or torque reserve rate is the main problem found in this spot check.
Energy-efficient internal combustion engines are the key power equipment for national economic construction and national defense security. They are widely used in transportation, engineering machinery, agricultural machinery, fixed power equipment and defense equipment. The Opinions on Strengthening the Energy-saving and Emission-reduction of Internal-combustion Engine Industry issued by the General Office of the State Council pointed out that by 2015, energy-saving internal-combustion engine products will account for 60% of the entire society's internal combustion engine products.
The special spot checks involved 26 batches of products produced by 26 companies in 14 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities). The scope of spot checks includes two types of energy-saving multi-cylinder diesel engines and second-generation single-cylinder diesel engines. Exhaust smoke, exhaust pollutants, safety performance check, fuel consumption rate, fatal failure (Type I) and severe failure (II) 11 items, including 11 items, were tested. A total of 13 batches of products were found to be unqualified, and the rate of detection of unqualified products was 50%. Among them, 12 batches of energy-saving multi-cylinder diesel engines were spot-checked, and unqualified products were not detected; while 14 batches of second-generation single-cylinder diesel engines were sampled, only one batch was qualified, and the unqualified detection rate was 92.9%. There were 12 batches of unqualified exhaust pollutants in the unqualified products, 8 batches of fuel consumption rate were unqualified, 7 batches of products had the largest torque or torque reserve rate, and 2 batches of product exhaust smoke were unqualified.
It is understood that exhaust smoke and exhaust pollutants are the most important indicators of environmental performance of energy-saving internal combustion engines. Failure to meet these standards may result in two hazards: First, the harm to the environment. During the operation of internal combustion engines, a large amount of CO2 greenhouse gases and particulate harmful gases are deposited in the air. When they encounter fog, they are converted into secondary particulate pollutants and become one of the causes of haze. Second, they are health and safety. The hazards. The harmful gases such as NO, NO2, CO, HC, and SO2 emitted during the operation of the internal combustion engine pose a threat to human health. The fuel consumption rate is the core energy efficiency index and the preferred commercial index of the internal combustion engine. The fuel consumption rate is not up to the standard and the fuel economy is poor, and it is unable to meet the energy saving and emission reduction requirements.
Talking about the main reasons for the failure of energy-saving internal combustion engines, the spokesman of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, Luo Fangping pointed out that energy-saving internal-combustion engine manufacturers, especially small-scale private enterprises, mostly organize production through assembly, and the quality control system is not perfect. Some of the enterprises' parts and components are imported into the plant. Insufficient inspection capacity, strict control; some companies in order to save costs, the use of some low-quality cheap parts and components, resulting in the whole product performance fluctuations. In addition, the identification of conventional single-cylinder diesel engines as second-generation single-cylinder diesel engines and marking of products used on fixed occasions (constant speeds) as agricultural machinery (such as micro tillage machines) (non-constant speed) supporting power and other improper identification leads to technical specifications and requirements. Uncoordinated product quality is also one of the reasons for the failure.
It is reported that for the substandard products and production enterprises in this random inspection, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine has instructed the relevant provincial (autonomous regions and municipalities) quality and technical supervision departments to deal with them in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
