Daqing Petrochemical Thermal Power Plant has to continuously discharge pollutants for 24 hours in order to ensure the cleanliness of the boiler surface and the quality of the boiler water. The temperature of the effluent discharged into the cooling pool is close to 100°C, and thermal energy is wasted. In this regard, the plant organized technical personnel repeatedly argued that from the side of the furnace side of the sewage discharge expansion container inlet header to the newly installed heat exchanger, the use of boiler waste water heat to chemical demineralized water heating, to solve the desalination of water to be sent to Temperature rise of steam turbines.
After the implementation of the project, the temperature of desalinated water rose from 27°C to 45°C, and the temperature of boiler continuous effluent was reduced from 110°C to 40°C, which was a two-fold drop in energy consumption and safety hazards.
