a) Connect the circuit according to the schematic diagram. Transformer shell, console, etc. must be well grounded.
b) Turn on the power, the green indicator light above the console is on, press the start button again, and the red indicator light will be on to show the riser to wait for the up flow.
c) Rotate the regulator clockwise and evenly so that the output current indicates up to the desired high current. In order to ensure the test accuracy, a standard ammeter can be connected in series with the instrument string.
d) In the test, once an abnormal situation occurs, the power supply should be cut off immediately, and the cause must be checked before proceeding.
e) After the test is completed, the regulator must be reset to zero position, and press the stop button to cut off the power supply; after cutting off the working power, the test wiring can be removed to ensure safety.
Second, the matters needing attention
a) The high-current generator is designed for short-time operation, so it is not allowed to work under the rated capacity for a long time, in particular it is not allowed to run over the rated current to prevent overheating.
b) For new installations, transformers that are not used for a long period of time may be used before the application of a 1500 megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance between the coils and the coil to ground. The resistance value shall not be lower than 0.5 megohms.
c) In use, the up-flow transformer and the operating platform must be reliably grounded to ensure safety.
d) It should be slow and even when moving up. Avoid excessive vibration when moving.
e) The contact surface of the pressure regulator with the brush should be kept clean. If necessary, use 90% alcohol to clean the cotton yarn.
f) The large current generator should be stored indoors in a clean, ventilated, dry place.
