Because the finer the cement is, the larger the specific surface area, the greater the strength of each order of the cement. When the grinding fineness of 80um square hole sieve is less than 4 %, the power consumption of the grinding unit product will increase significantly and the output will decrease accordingly with the reduction of the sieve residue; therefore, the fineness of the cement grinding is usually controlled. Through the study of the grinding method and the grinding process, it can be seen that adjusting the particle size distribution of the separator can increase the strength of the cement without necessarily increasing the grinding fineness to achieve this goal.
Traditional cement particle size detection method:
The description of cement fineness can be summarized as follows: sieve residue, specific surface area, particle size distribution, average particle size, etc. Screen residue is the most common method used in cement production, and it is also a method that continues for a long time. Existing problem in the production of cement, cement fineness with 80um square mesh control has been inappropriate, should promote the use of square holes 45 μ m sieve than in cement production, with 45 μ m square mesh control cement fineness degree. However, the high 45 μ m sieve test production technology requirements, very few such products on the domestic market. The fineness represented by the specific surface area represents a big step over the sieve. Its correlation with cement properties is more universal than that of the sieve. However, the breathability method also has the problem of inaccurate testing of porous materials and fine materials, and there are still many limitations in relation to the physical properties of cement. Therefore, the fineness (80um sieve residue ) and Blaine 's specific surface area can only partially reflect the cement particles, and it is impossible to fully understand the distribution of cement particles. They are not enough to control the performance of cement and fully exert the effects of various components of cement. .
As mentioned above, even if the screening fineness is the same or the specific surface area is similar, the performance of cement sometimes shows a large difference, which is due to the fact that the particle size distribution may be different (of course, the particle shape factor is also very important ) .
