ABS is an improved technology based on conventional braking devices. Its working principle is that it depends on the highly sensitive wheel speed sensors installed on each wheel and the vehicle speed sensor on the vehicle body to be controlled by the computer. In case of emergency braking, once a wheel is found to be locked, the computer immediately instructs the pressure regulator to let the brake sub-pump of the wheel discharge (reduce) the pressure so that the wheel can resume rotation. The working process of ABS is in fact a locking-releasing-locking-releasing cycle working process, so that the vehicle is always in a state of critical inter-lock clearance rolling, effectively overcoming the deviations, side slips, and flings during emergency braking. 1. When ABS is braked, the high-speed retracting operation of the brake cylinder will cause the high-pressure brake fluid to be frequently squeezed to generate a loud sound, and the brake pedal will also have jitter and top legs. Do not be bothered by this phenomenon while driving. In case of emergency, use ABS brakes without hesitation, and force the brakes to step in the end. Do not relax.

Second, since the wheels are not locked when the ABS is suddenly braked, the front wheels still have a guiding role. The driver can use the brakes to make emergency avoidance.

Third, the ABS system has a very high requirement for the brake fluid. Therefore, the addition of brake fluid should be strictly in accordance with the requirements of the operating instructions. It is generally forbidden to dope different types of brake fluid. In general, the same type of brake fluid should be replaced once a year. DOT3 or DOT4 alcohol based brake fluids are also available.

Fourth, ABS wheel sensors and ring gear are installed on each wheel, so always keep the sensor probe and ring gear clean, to prevent mud, oil, especially magnet material attached to its surface, resulting in sensor failure or loss The signal to the computer is incorrect and affects the normal operation of the ABS system.

V. Vehicles equipped with ABS systems should strictly follow the specified tire pressure standards, and at the same time maintain a balanced tire air pressure, it is strictly prohibited to use different specifications of tires. In addition, attention should be paid to checking the clearance between the wheel speed sensor probe and the ring gear. The axial clearance of the wheel bearing over the assembly will directly affect the normal operation of the ABS.

6. Drivers should always pay attention to the condition of the ABS warning light on the instrument panel when driving. If flicker or bright light is found, the ABS system has been out of working condition. At this moment, the brake system has returned to the normal brake working interface, the car can continue to drive, but it does not have ABS function, and it is recommended to repair it as soon as possible.
