A 30-meter-high business building in Zhengzhou was slowly "fallen" by an excavator

In general, high-rise buildings are mostly demolished by directional blasting.

However, yesterday, a 30-meter-high building at the junction of Taikang Road Minggong was slowly “taken down” by an excavator, and the collapsed scene was like a slow motion movie.

Early yesterday morning, Wang Qiang, who lives nearby, came to the roadside early to see the shock of the directional blasting of the building.

This business building was built around 2003 and has only 7 floors. It needs to be demolished due to planning.

At the scene, only one excavator was drilled on the bottom of the building next to the building. Two pillars were completely drilled and bare steel bars were exposed.

The excavator first knocked out several load-bearing pillars in the business building, and knocked out four of the seven load-bearing pillars on the north side.

At 2:30 in the afternoon, the Taikang Road, which was demolished at the scene, was closed on the entire line and motor vehicles were prohibited from passing.

"Hey, hee hee..." The excavator drilled a load-bearing column in the northeast corner. After 5 minutes, the building began to tilt toward the northeast and slowly fell. At about 2:40, the entire building fell to the ground and huge dust blew up on the scene.

According to the description of nearby citizens, people outside the hundred meters have a strong sense of tremor.

After more than 20 minutes, the traffic police department lifted the road blockade.

According to Niu Kunkun, due to the fact that the commercial building is located close to Taikang Road and it is feared that blasting will affect the safety of passers-by, the directional blasting will only become demolition of the directional machinery.
