14 provinces and cities are planning to build a logistics alliance

Recently, the logistics industry in 14 provinces and cities including Beijing and Shanghai, including Shandong, co-constructed the “2011 China (Jinan) International Modern Logistics Supply Chain Technology and Modern Equipment Expo” (hereinafter referred to as the “logistics fair”). Alliance, from more than 30 domestic and foreign investment and financing institutions attended.

It is understood that the theme of this exhibition is "modern logistics, the future of link industry development." The Shandong Province Logistics and Transportation Association advocates the establishment of logistics alliances with 13 provinces and cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Tianjin to realize the logistics industry. Resource sharing, industrial exchanges, improve the support of the logistics industry to the national economy, promote the exchange of the domestic logistics industry and the development of the international modern logistics industry.

Zhu Hongren, deputy director of the Economic Operation Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission of China, stated at the opening ceremony that in recent years, China's logistics industry has grown rapidly, and its external environment for development has become more relaxed. The State Council of the People's Republic of China issued the "Notice of Adjustment and Revitalization Planning of the Logistics Industry" in 2009, 2011. Formulating the Opinions on Promoting the Sound Development of the Logistics Industry Policy, the role of the logistics industry in safeguarding the national economy is increasing day by day. The development of the logistics industry in Shandong Province is at the forefront of China, providing learning experience for the development of China's logistics industry.

Shandong's logistics industry has developed rapidly in recent years and has attracted wide attention. In 2010, Shandong Province had a total social logistics of 1,058.31 billion yuan. There are more than 17,000 enterprises engaged in logistics business, and it has entered 23 of China's top 100 enterprises. According to the provincial plan, during the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” period, Shandong will invest 202.6 billion yuan to build 633 key logistics construction projects and cultivate and support 100 large-scale modern logistics companies with high service levels and strong international competitiveness.

It is reported that the U.S. International Chamber of Commerce, the American Vantone Investment Bank, the China Investment Association, the China-Africa Economic and Trade Investment Promotion Association and other well-known institutions at home and abroad made a special trip to Shandong to participate in this logistics fair.
