Yuchai gets hybrid orders for buses

Yuchai signed the hybrid orders for 240 buses purchased by the Kunming Bus Company. At this point, the company’s share of vehicles purchased this year exceeded 85%. Currently, Yuchai New Energy Power has been launched in more than 10 cities including Guangzhou, Wuhan, Suzhou, Kunming, Guiyang, and Nanning, and has been widely recognized by the market. In Yulin City alone, 30 new energy buses equipped with this power are put into operation.
Yuchai is one of the earliest companies involved in new energy power companies in China. Since the successful development of the first domestic ISG hybrid system in 2007, the Yuchai hybrid power system has been leading the industry. With strong technical strength, in the second half of this year, Yuchai once again made efforts to launch the second generation of hybrid power systems and pure electric systems, with new technologies and new products to help protect the green water and blue sky. As soon as the product was released, it attracted the attention of the market with its outstanding technical advantages and many bright spots.
Yuchai's second-generation plug-in hybrid power system features fuel economy, environmental protection, and power. Among them, the fuel saving rate exceeds 40%, fully meets the needs of all parties for energy conservation and environmental protection; the maximum drive motor power is 100 kilowatts, which is much higher than the extreme value of the 65 kilowatts of related companies. In accordance with China's new energy vehicles will implement the new requirements for subsidies, this leading technology will bring greater benefits to vehicle companies and bus users.
Yuchai also introduced a pure electric drive system to realize intelligent vehicle energy management. The system adopts motor direct drive to realize stepless speed change and has high system efficiency. It is mainly applied to pure electric buses, official vehicles and special vehicles. In addition, four motors and three power stages can meet the user's own needs; the intelligent energy-saving control of the electric accessories reduces energy consumption of single components by nearly 60%.
According to statistics, since 2010, Yuchai's hybrid power system and dedicated engines have sold more than 20,000 units, and its market share has surpassed 70%. It has become the preferred power for new energy users. In order to better serve our country's energy-saving and emission reduction business, the next step, Yuchai will fully enter the new energy power market. At the end of this year or early next year, hybrid three-generation systems will be introduced. The system includes plug-in parallel, plug-in hybrid, pure electric drive system and other three technical solutions. Among them, the pure electric drive system is Yuchai's product that will soon be put into the market.
