Tianjin: Binhai New Area ethylene project will only "drink" seawater

After the remarkable Tianjin 1 million-ton/year ethylene project is completed, its industrial water will be completely solved by seawater desalination.
The reporter learned from Tianjin Binhai New Area that Tianjin Petrochemical Company's 1 million tons/year ethylene project is a state-level key construction project. The entire project includes auxiliary projects such as oil refining and thermal power transformation projects. The total investment will reach 20.1 billion yuan, planned for 2008. Put into operation.
It is understood that after the completion of the large ethylene project, the daily water consumption is about 82,000 tons, and the annual water consumption is close to 30 million tons. Tianjin Petrochemical Company began its project with a focus on sustainable development strategies. Recently, Singapore Xinfa Group, which specializes in the construction of large-scale seawater desalination, tap water and wastewater treatment projects, signed an agreement with Dagang District to build a seawater desalination plant with daily processing capacity of 150,000 tons in the Dagang District Marine Petrochemical Park to meet Dagang District. Water for industrial projects.
The seawater desalination plant that is about to start construction is named Tianjin Dagang Xinquan Desalination Co., Ltd., which covers an area of 180 acres. The scale of the first-phase project will be 100,000 tons of fresh water for Nissan, and an investment of 90 million US dollars. It is planned to be completed and used in July 2006. The second phase is 50,000 tons of Nissan, which is scheduled to be completed in 2008.
After the plant is put into production, the cost of seawater desalination is RMB 4 per ton, which is lower than other local industrial water prices. The seawater desalinated plant desalinated seawater comes from the cooling water used by the cooling power generating units of the Dagang Power Plant and is introduced into the plant through the power plant drainage channel through the Zinqi Highway. The desalinated seawater is mainly supplied to enterprises in Dagang Marine Petrochemical Park and the large ethylene projects that will enter the park.

Inflatable Tent

The inflatable tent is produced by a combination of adhesive bonding and high-frequency thermal bonding.
The air columns are made of PVC double-sided coated fabric and the canopy is made of waterproof and
UV-resistant material, which has the advantages of fast forming, high strength, flame resistance, mold
resistance, UV resistance, and moisture resistance. The tent is an inflatable tent with an air column frame,
which is lighter, smaller, and easier to carry than a metal stand tent.

Set Up
The inflatable tent is relatively easy to set up, just lay the tent flat on an open space, connect it to a
foot pump or an electric pump and it can be set up in a few minutes by just two people.

Dismantling
The same applies to the dismantling of the tent. The dismantling and packing of the metal stand requires
a large number of people and takes a long time. The inflatable tent can be dismantled by simply letting
it deflate naturally or by pumping it up with an electric blower.

The advantages
The inflatable tent has incomparable advantages over ordinary metal tents, being lighter and smaller in
size and having advantages in transport that ordinary metal tents do not have. It is easy to erect and
dismantle and does not waste any more manpower or time, making it particularly suitable for rapid
response to emergencies. The inflatable tent can also be air-dropped when the environment is
too harsh to reach.
