1 Introduction
The Lanjiagou molybdenum deposit is located in Gangyu Township, Jinxi County, Liaoning Province, 15km northeast of the Lingqian Mine of Yangjiazhangzi Mining Bureau. It is another large molybdenum deposit discovered in 1978.
Now, the molybdenum deposit is mined separately by the Yangjiazhangzi Mining Bureau and the Gangyu Township. The three selected factories of the steel shovel have a daily mining stone of 2,200 tons.
The total production capacity of the Gangyu Township Office (1000t/d), the small plant (400t/d) and the Yangjiazhangzi Mining Bureau (800t/d) is 2200t/d. The concentrate is about 4000t. Gangyu Township also has a molybdenum roasting plant and a molybdenum iron smelting plant to carry out deep processing of some molybdenum concentrates.
2. Deposits, ores and mining
The Lanjiagou molybdenum deposit is located at the junction of the Dongdongxiang daughter river fault and the east-west tiger cave-steel fault. Occurrence of fine-grained porphyritic granite, and often silicide, illite - associated water white mica, Fe, Mn carbonation. The ore-containing veins are: quartz vein, iron-manganese carbonate vein, silicified Yili petrochemical alteration zone and fracture zone. The ore of the deposit contains an average of 0.131% molybdenum. Type of mineralization of molybdenum:
(1) Quartz vein type: Molybdenum ore is scaly, accompanied by magnetite and hematite.
(2) Quartz complex vein: a mineralized zone consisting of a large vein containing molybdenum quartz and parallel small veins on both sides.
(3) Quartz vein fracture zone type: The early quartz vein is filled and enriched with molybdenum ore.
(4) Alteration fracture zone type: Molybdenum ore is enriched along broken silicification, illite-water micaization, iron-manganese carbonate zone, and quartz veins are missing or rare.
(5) Fracture zone: The molybdenite deposits along the fractured joint fissure to form an ore body.
Single useful components ore, containing high aluminum, typically a few thousandths, topical or up to several dozen percent. The average is 0.27%.

Lanjiagou uses the joint mining process of open mining and pit mining.
3, Gangwu Town Office Small Selection Plant
It is located in Gangyu Township and is the earliest molybdenum selection plant in the township office. In 1980, the processing capacity was 400t/d. The bonanza produced by Lanjiagou has been treated. Although the plant is not large and the production is not normal, the output has been very high. In 1987, about 1600 tons of molybdenum concentrate containing 40~45% molybdenum was produced.
The plant adopts a two-stage closed-circuit crushing process. There are two parallel crushing systems, each consisting of one 400×600mm jaw crusher and one ¢900mm short head cone crusher .
Pharmaceutical processing mainly coal oil, # 2 oil. The ore dressing index fluctuates greatly and the recovery rate is not too high.
4, Gangyu Township Office
It is the largest steel picker with a processing capacity of l000t/d.
The ore dressing process is modeled after Yangjiazhangzi, using a rough selection, a sweeping selection, a coarse concentrate regrind, and seven selected processes. Grinding 2 2.7 × 2.1m lattice ball mill 2 sets, and rough selection to form two rough grinding - rough selection series.
The ore dressing agent is simple. In addition to kerosene and 2 # oil, sodium cyanide is sometimes added.
The selection index fluctuates greatly, and the ore grade is usually 0.7%~0.9% Mo. The grade of molybdenum concentrate is 45%~47% Mo, and the recovery rate is about 800%~85%. In 1987, the production of molybdenum concentrate was about 2,500 tons.
5, joint venture
It is a joint venture of Gangyu Township and Yangjiazhangzi Mine with a treatment capacity of 400t/d.
One set of ¢900mm short-head cone crusher with 400×600mm jaw crusher for crushing, which consists of two sections and one closed-circuit crushing process.
The grinding machine is made of ¢2.7×2.1m ball mill, and the process is the same as that of the big factory.
The grade of molybdenum concentrate is 45%~47%, the recovery rate is 80%~88%, and the molybdenum concentrate is about 800t in 1987.
The total production capacity of the three selected factories in Gangyu Township is 1800t/d, and in 1987, the molybdenum concentrate is 4500~5000t.
Due to the interference of sericite and illite in the ore, the quality of molybdenum concentrate is difficult to improve.
