Russian Ministry of Energy reveals energy export forecast by 2030

According to Russian RBC report on December 8 in Moscow, Russia’s Energy Ministry representative and Director-General of the Russian Institute of Energy Strategy Vitale Buschiev introduced Russia’s energy strategy at the Russian oil and gas conference in Moscow today, according to the Russian 2030. In the energy strategy draft years ago, Russia’s oil export volume may reach 244 million tons in 2010, and natural gas exports may reach 264 billion cubic meters.

Busyuev pointed out that according to the basic plan of the energy strategy, Russia’s oil export volume and natural gas export volume are expected to reach 263 million tons and 312 billion cubic meters respectively by 2015.

By 2020, Russia’s oil exports and natural gas exports are expected to reach 249 million tons and 349 billion cubic meters, respectively.

Russian oil and gas exports are expected to reach 243 million tons and 356 billion cubic meters by 2025 respectively.

Busuyev added that Russia’s oil and gas exports are expected to reach 236 million tons and 355 billion cubic meters respectively by 2030.
