I. Scope of responsibility
This insurance is divided into ground transportation insurance and land transportation insurance. When the insured goods suffer losses, this insurance shall be subject to liability in accordance with the provisions of the insurer's insurance policy.
(I) Ground transportation insurance
This insurance is responsible for compensation:
1. The insured goods are subjected to storms, lightning, floods, earthquakes or natural disasters during transportation, or are stranded, plunged, derailed or transported by the means of transport in the course of the transport, or are hit by rocks, sunken or collided, or due to tunnel collapse. All or part of the damage caused by a cliff collapse or fire, explosion accident.
2. The insured shall pay reasonable expenses for salvaging and preventing or reducing the damage to the goods subject to the danger within the insured liability, but not exceeding the insured amount of the salvaged goods.
(B) Land Transportation All Risks
In addition to including the liability for the above ground transportation insurance, this insurance is also responsible for all or part of the loss of the insured goods during transit due to external reasons.
Second, the responsibility of exclusion
This insurance does not cover liability for the following losses:
(1) Losses caused by the intentional act or negligence of the insured person.
(b) Losses caused by the responsibility of the consignor.
(3) Before the beginning of insurance liability, the quality of the insured goods that has already existed is of poor quality or a shortfall in the quantity.
(4) The natural losses, essential defects, characteristics of the insured goods, and the losses or expenses caused by the market's falling, transportation delays.
(5) The scope of liability and the exclusion of liability stipulated by the company's ground transportation cargo war risk clause and cargo transportation strike insurance clause.
III. Responsibility
This insurance assumes the responsibility of “warehouse to warehouse†and shall be effective when the insured goods are shipped from the warehouse or storage location of the departure place stated in the insurance policy, including on land and its associated water transfer in the normal transportation process. Until the goods arrive at the final warehouse or storage space of the destination payee as set out in the insurance policy or other storage space used by the insured person for distribution or distribution, the goods are insured if they have not been delivered to the above warehouse or storage space. The goods arrive at the last station to be unloaded for 60 days.
IV. Obligations of the Insured
The insured shall handle the relevant matters in accordance with the due obligations set out below. If the insurer fails to perform the prescribed obligations and affects the interests of the company, the company has the right to refuse compensation for the relevant losses.
(1) After the insured goods arrive at the destination set out in the insurance policy, the insured shall promptly take delivery of the goods. When the insured goods are found to have suffered any loss, they shall apply to the inspection and claims-reporting agents stated in the insurance policy for inspection. If it is found that the whole of the insured goods is short or there are obvious signs of damage, the carrier, trustee or the relevant authority shall obtain a proof of the difference between the goods and the cargo if the difference between the goods and the cargo is caused by the responsibility of the carrier, trustee or other relevant parties. , and should file a claim with them in writing and, if necessary, obtain an extension of time-limited certification.
(2) For the goods subject to the dangers covered by the underwriting, they shall promptly adopt reasonable rescue measures to prevent or reduce the loss of the goods.
(3) In claiming to the insurer, the following documents must be provided: original insurance policy, bill of lading, invoice, packing list, pound code, cargo damage proof, inspection report and claim list. If related to third party liability, it must also provide relevant correspondence and other necessary documents or documents for recourse to the responsible party.
Fifth, claim limits
The time limit for this insurance claim shall be calculated from the total unloading of the insured goods at the final destination station, up to a maximum of two years.
