New Advances in Sensors - Japan Develops Olfactory Robots

According to relevant news, Japanese scientists have used sensors developed by frog cells to enable robots to have olfactory functions that traditional robots do not have.

According to the report, researchers at Japan’s Tokyo University studied mainly cell development. The head of the robot they developed has advanced sensor instruments installed. Traditional sensors do not sense odors. But scientists at the University of Tokyo said that their robots not only have a higher sense of smell, but also can distinguish different odors. Scientists revealed that this scientific research result will hopefully be used in medicine.
