Korea Kia's total production in China will reach 740,000 in 2014

According to Yonhap News Agency reported on June 29, Dongfeng Yueda Kia Corporation held the groundbreaking ceremony of the third factory in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province in the morning. The third plant is expected to be completed in the first half of 2014. By then, the annual production of Kia Motors will reach 740,000, and the annual output of the first, second and third plants will be 140,000, 300,000 and 300,000 vehicles respectively. Since Kia Motors sold more than 100,000 vehicles in the Chinese market in 2007, the output of the Kia Motors reached 142,000, 241,000, 333,000 and 432,000 vehicles respectively in 2008-2011, which has achieved an alarming increase. In addition to the annual output of 1 million Hyundai Motors, Hyundai-Kia Motors will produce 1.74 million vehicles in China in 2014.
