A few days ago, iStrategyLabs, a technology and creative company, launched a self-timer and shared self-timer Selfie.
Selfie's full name is Self Enhancing Live Feed Image Engine. On the surface, the Selfie is an extremely common mirror, but behind the mirror is a built-in camera, a Mac Mini running facial recognition software, and an LED countdown timer controlled by Arduino.
When using the Selfie mirror, the user just needs to stand in front of the mirror, adjust his state, and pose to keep smiling. The Arduino will control the timer and use the two rows of flashes and sound effects on both sides of the mirror to remind the user to take a picture. The Mac Mini's facial recognition software recognizes smiling faces, instructs the camera to take pictures, and informs the user that the shooting has been completed. In addition, post-shooting photos can be set to be automatically uploaded to Twitter, avoiding the tedious operation of cameras and mobile phones.
