A new joint venture of Wacker Chemie AG and Guangdong Demei Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd., which is a new silicone emulsion plant in China, officially opened in Zhangjiagang City, Jiangsu Yangtze International Chemical Industry Park on April 30th. The new plant, with an annual production capacity of about 30,000 tons, mainly provides organic silicon emulsions and process aids for the Chinese textile, leather and fiber industries. With the commissioning of the new plant, Demevac will further consolidate its leading position in China's fast-growing market.
