Lanzhou Petrochemical Company's chemical fertilizer plant flue gas desulphurization device for coal-fired boilers was built and put into use. After 168 hours of continuous operation and monitoring as of November 10, various technical indicators met the design requirements, marking the flue gas desulfurization project. The technological transformation has been successful.
The power plant of Lanzhou Petrochemical Fertilizer Plant currently has three high-pressure pulverized coal boilers. Since the A and B boilers were not equipped with a flue gas desulfurization system at the beginning of construction, they could not meet safety production and strict environmental protection requirements. To this end, the plant started the reconstruction and expansion of coal-fired boiler flue gas desulfurization projects in 2006, using TFGD multi-cycle dual-alkali wet flue gas desulfurization process technology to replace the existing desulfurization process technology. After the device was put into operation, the annual operating cost was reduced from the original 9.75 million yuan to 3,475.6 thousand yuan; the sulfur dioxide pollutant discharge fee was reduced from the original 505.89 million yuan to 505.89 million yuan; and the annual reduction in sulfur dioxide emissions was 7,227 tons, to improve the Lanzhou region. The state of the environment has played an active role.
